Before you sit

A simple way to begin

You need nothing more than a quiet corner and a few unhurried minutes. Sit comfortably, soften the shoulders, and let the breath find its own slow rhythm.

  1. 1 Settle the body. Spine tall, jaw soft, hands at rest.
  2. 2 Notice the breath without changing it.
  3. 3 When the mind wanders, return — gently, as many times as needed.
