Alternate nostril breath
Balances the channels and calms the nervous system before meditation.
- Sit comfortably with a tall spine.
- Close the right nostril with the thumb; inhale through the left.
- Close the left nostril with the ring finger; exhale through the right.
- Inhale through the right; close it; exhale through the left.
- Continue for five to ten cycles. End with a long left-nostril exhale.
